Toy Review: Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H Figuarts Android 16 "Dragonball Z" Action Figure

Android 16 is one of my favourite characters from the Dragonball Z universe and I think he is highly under-rated. The SH Figuarts Android 16  toy figure is a must get to complete the Android trio and they really look awesome together. Paint-job is again immaculate and the sculpt is spot on. The Android 16 figure does not come with many accessories but he is one big and bulky figure, taller than Piccolo and measuring close to 7 inches measures from the tip of his hair and really works well and is to scale with the other Dragonball Z characters in the S.H Figuarts line. They should have included one or two little birds or small animals to show him in his gentler side though, that would be perfect. The  SH Figuarts Android 16  comes with 3 interchangeable face pieces (yelling, laughing and battle damaged) for a total of 4 faces. 2 pairs of hands ( clenched fist and open hands with slightly bent fingers) and removable forearms which reveals his cannon fo...

Toy Review: Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts Android 18 "Dragon Ball Z" Action Figure

The S.H.Figuarts Android 18  Action Figure is cool, beautiful but deadly. She is the first female character to be released from the S.H Figuarts Dragonball Z line and she surely did not disappoint. As we have come to expect from this line, the  S.H.Figuarts Android 18  is a great looking figure which really captures the personality and feel of the Android 18 character from the anime and manga. The sculpt is highly detailed and the thing about this figure is that there are no obvious joints on her except for the elbows. This makes the S.H Figuarts Android 18 toy figure look great. The paint job is top notch and I like the really bright and vibrant colours used on her and she is sure to look good along side Android 17 and Android 16. These 3 characters are a must get for any serious S.H Figuarts collector. Her jacket and skirt are made of very bendable plastic and do not really get in the way when you pose her. Of course, her skirt does limit the a...

Bandai Tamshii Nations S.H Figuarts Dragonball Z Son Goku Super Saiyan Warrior Awakening Action Figure Review

This version of the S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan Awakening Son Goku  depicts his first transformation into a Super Saiyan during his battle with Freeza on the Planet Namek.  The detailing is superb and I especially like the battle damaged effects he has on his clothing after his intense battle with Final Form Freeza . In terms of accessories, the  S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan Awakening Son Goku  comes with 2 additional interchangeable faces to show different facial expressions. There is a normal cool looking face, an angry face with him baring his teeth and one best used with the Kame-Hame-Ha as seen below. I think SH Figurarts figures are of pretty high quality and they have gotten the face right for Son Goku. Many of my Dragonball Z Toys from my childhood did not have this level of quality and i had to bear with figures just barely resembling Goku. Well, not any more with the S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Z line. Ther...
