Kamehameha! Bandai Tamashii Nations SH Figuarts Dragon Ball Z Toy Figure - Son Goku Super Saiyan 2.0 Cell Saga Review

The SH Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Gohan Action Figure  is by far one of the best Dragon Ball Z figure in the Bandai Tamashii Nations line up. This action figure features Son Gohan in the Cell Saga in his battle damaged form. The SH Figuarts Dragon Ball Z Son Gohan toy figure also comes with 2 interchangeable hair which allows you to switch from his normal Super Saiyan Jin Form to the Super Saiyan Jin 2.0 SSJ2. The rips and and tears on the  SH Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Gohan Action Figure  are really beautifully done and the toy figure itself is highly articulated. It will definitely look good with other SH Figuarts Dragonball Z toy figures. This is the classic scene in Dragon Ball Z when Son Gohan was enraged by Cell stomping on Android 16's head and killing him. Son Gohan has always been known to be able to tap into his latent powers whenever he is angry. This was the moment Son Gohan transformed into his SSJ2 form. Kamahameha back at Cell who fire...

Toy Review: Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H Figuarts Android 16 "Dragonball Z" Action Figure

Android 16 is one of my favourite characters from the Dragonball Z universe and I think he is highly under-rated. The SH Figuarts Android 16  toy figure is a must get to complete the Android trio and they really look awesome together. Paint-job is again immaculate and the sculpt is spot on. The Android 16 figure does not come with many accessories but he is one big and bulky figure, taller than Piccolo and measuring close to 7 inches measures from the tip of his hair and really works well and is to scale with the other Dragonball Z characters in the S.H Figuarts line. They should have included one or two little birds or small animals to show him in his gentler side though, that would be perfect. The  SH Figuarts Android 16  comes with 3 interchangeable face pieces (yelling, laughing and battle damaged) for a total of 4 faces. 2 pairs of hands ( clenched fist and open hands with slightly bent fingers) and removable forearms which reveals his cannon fo...

Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Son Gohan "Dragonball Z" Action Figure Review

We have already started to take for granted the high quality Dragonball Z toy figures from the S.H Figuarts line. The S.H. Figuarts Son Gohan  was one of the earliest to be released in the line and at one point of time the price rose to over $200. Thankfully, with a re-issue, the price has recovered back to an acceptable range of less than $40 so it is a good chance to get it for collectors late to this line. Paint-job is excellent and the details are incredible. There are shadings on his hair, belt and shoes so it really looks great and the resemblance to the character from the anime is uncanny. The only drawback is that some may find him too small standing at about 5 inches from the tip of his hair to his foot.  The  S.H. Figuarts Son Gohan  comes with 2 interchangeable heads to depict his transformation between Super Saiyan 1 and Super Saiyan 2. He has 4 extra faceplates and even though most of them portray Gohan in his serious expression bu...

Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Android 17 "Dragon Ball Z" Action Figure Review

After the release of the S.H Figuarts Android 18 , her evil twin S.H. Figuarts Android 17  was released as a Japanese web exclusive and made available in North America via Bluefin Distribution. After the very well received Android 18, the S.H Figuarts Android 17 was highly anticipated and he was worth the wait. The S.H Figuarts Dragonball Z toy line is really the best in the market now.  The likeness to the Android 17 character in the Dragonball Z anime is stunning on the  S.H. Figuarts Android 17  . The paint job on this figure is perfectly done and it looks as if the Android 17 character popped right out of the anime. The black and red bandanna on the S.H Figuarts Android 17 goes very well with the blue and yellow on the S.H Figuarts  Android 18  and they look great together. Android 16 will complete the look. Articulation wise, the  S.H. Figuarts Android 17   boasts the same amazing pose-ability as previous figures. However,...

Toy Review: Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts Android 18 "Dragon Ball Z" Action Figure

The S.H.Figuarts Android 18  Action Figure is cool, beautiful but deadly. She is the first female character to be released from the S.H Figuarts Dragonball Z line and she surely did not disappoint. As we have come to expect from this line, the  S.H.Figuarts Android 18  is a great looking figure which really captures the personality and feel of the Android 18 character from the anime and manga. The sculpt is highly detailed and the thing about this figure is that there are no obvious joints on her except for the elbows. This makes the S.H Figuarts Android 18 toy figure look great. The paint job is top notch and I like the really bright and vibrant colours used on her and she is sure to look good along side Android 17 and Android 16. These 3 characters are a must get for any serious S.H Figuarts collector. Her jacket and skirt are made of very bendable plastic and do not really get in the way when you pose her. Of course, her skirt does limit the a...
