Gigantic Guyver Action Figure- Max Factory Guyver Bio Fighter Collection 10 Review

Written By Jax. Pics Courtesy of Donnay

Packaging for Maxfactory Bio Fighter Collection 10 Gigantic Guyver Figure is the same as that of the previous Gigantic Dark Guyver Figure. There are openings on the side of the package so that you can see the accessories more clearly. I guess the only reason for doing that is to tempt collectors more : )

Despite his size, the Gigantic Guyver is super articulated. Joints at the elbows allow for bending more then 90 degrees. The green gravitational boosters on the body are translucent and looks as if they are pulsating with energy.Once again, Max Factory has impressed me with the details on the Gigantic Guyver's face. No paint bleeding of any sort can be seen. All the details on the face are captured. The head can not only tilt downwards as in previous figures. Gigantic Dark Guyver and Gigantic Guyver can both tilt their heads upwards by around 45 degrees, opening up new possibilities for posing.

Similar to the Gigantic Dark Guyver, the Gigantic Guyver comes with an interchangeable head showing him with the sonic orbs on the face revealed. The Gigantic Guyver has one ultra high frequency blade on each arm. In the manga, these can freely extend to great lengths, sometimes even longer then the height of the Gigantic Guyver. Would be interesting if Max Factory had included a super longer blade.

Gigantic Guyver with the Gigasmashers. Putting them on is the same mechanism like that of the Gigantic Dark Guyver Figure.

The Gigantic Guyver with the Gravity Ram and in flight.I'm not elaborating much since this figure is essentially similar to the Gigantic Dark Guyver. You will need the display stand to hold him in these positions.
The Gigantic Guyver is yet another exquisite piece that will leave you drooling at its details. Price wise he is cheaper than Gigantic Dark Guyver Figure at the point of writing. But he is also getting increasingly difficult to find.

Bandai Tamashii Nations - SH Figuarts DBZ Majin Buu Figure Review

Introduction - SH Figuarts Majin Buu Figure Review   "Buu turn you into candy and eat you!"  The Majin Buu is the final villain in the Dragon Ball Z Manga. Honestly, I did not like the Dragon Ball Z Majin Buu Saga when I read the manga as a kid. I felt that the author should have ended the manga after the Cell Arc. All the different forms of the Majin Buu such as Kid Buu, Super Buu (Evil Buu) , Innocent Buu (Fat Buu or Zen Buu) as well as the other intermediate forms as Buu absorbed other characters really got me thinking that the author was   running out of ideas. Nevertheless, the character design is pretty unique and the SH Figuarts Majin Buu (Fat Buu or Zen version) captured this very well.  Packaging I knew that the SH Figuarts Majin Buu was going to be a big figure but when I received the actual figure, I was pleasantly surprised that it was HUGE . The box itself is much larger than the SH Figuarts DBZ Nappa figure. ...

Toy Review: S.H. Figuarts Yamcha Dragon Ball Z Action Figure - Bandai Tamashii Nations

Yamcha was an enemy of Goku at the beginning of the Dragonball Z manga and managed to defeat Kid Goku. Subsequently, he became Goku's ally and took the side of the Z Fighters as a powerful fighter, one of the strongest Earthlings. In the Vegeta Saga , Yamcha fought along side Krillin, Tien Shinhan and Chao Tzu to stop the attacking Saiyans Vegeta and Nappa . The S.H. Figuarts Yamcha Dragon Ball Z Action Figure accurately replicates this character in the Vegeta Saga battle. Other than the Yamcha figure whose articulation and possibility are things we have gotten used to in S.H Figuarts Dragonball Z figures, the  S.H. Figuarts Yamcha Dragon Ball Z Action Figure  also comes with a Saibaman accessory which is a great addition. The Saibamen were small green alien like creatures which sprouted when the Saiyan Nappa planted seeds in the ground, one Saibaman per seed. They were some sort of entertainment or warm up to the main battle before Goku was rev...

Jax Woon's Collection - Rare Guyver Figures 100% Complete Collection in Glass Display Cabinet

I just moved to my new house and finally got a proper toy display cabinet for my toy collection. The centre-piece of my collection is of course the Guyver anime figures from the Maxfactory Bio Fighter Collection Series. I have had many friends coming over to my place and commenting that these Guyver Figures look very nice but they had no idea who these characters were. If you do not already know them and are a fan of anime, I highly recommend that you purchase the Guyver Anime: Complete Box Set [Blu-ray] from Amazon.com to get to know them. It is just 26 episodes so it will not take up a lot of your time to start a new anime series. I consider myself lucky to have been able to complete the collection way before the prices sky rocketed in the secondary market. Just doing a quick search on Ebay and you will find that the average listed price for the Guyver Figures is about USD$200 to USD$400 per figure meaning the prices have more than tripled from the time of relea...
