Hot Toys Rey Jedi Training Star Wars Action Figure - The Last Jedi Review

With Star Wars Episode 8 - The Last Jedi expected to launch in December 2017, the Hot Toys Rey Jedi Training Star Wars Sixth Scale Figure gets a timely release as well. Images of this new Hot Toys Star Wars figure have been released and Rey the Last Jedi figure from Hot Toys is now ready for Pre-Order from Sideshow Collectibles. As a female lead character in the recent Star Wars franchise, this is definitely a Star Wars Figure worth collecting.

The Hot Toys Rey Jedi Training Star Wars Sixth Scale Figure is seen in various poses with a lightsaber, previously owned by Anakin Skywalker and was used by Luke Skywalker in the duel with Darth Vader in Cloud City where Darth Vader famously revealed to Luke Skywalker that he was Luke's father. The fabric and costume on the Hot Toys Rey Jedi Training Star Wars Figure looks highly detail. Even though it looks pretty simple but elegant, fitting of a Jedi in training and is accurately replicated from the movies, as seen in recent Star Wars Episode 8- The Last Jedi Trailers.

In terms of facial scuplt, the Hot Toys Rey Jedi Training Star Wars Figure captures Rey's look of determination very well. It is an excellent sculpt and one that we have almost come to take for granted from Hot Toys Star Wars Figures.

Here, you can see that the Hot Toys Rey Jedi Training Figure has a really well done costume. A belt and holster with a removable blaster is included. Even though this is a simple costume, as a new female lead character in the Hot Toys Star Wars figures line up, this character is definitely worth collecting.

Recent Hot Toys Star Wars figures who wield lightsabers often come with this lightsaber toy accessory that depicts the lightsaber in motion. It looks pretty good on the Hot Toys Rey Jedi Training Star Wars Figure and the same accessory was also included in the Hot Toys Luke Skywalker Return of the Jedi figure. It can be used to portray rapid swinging of the lightsaber to fend off enemy attacks or incoming blaster shots.

The Hot Toys Rey Jedi Training - The Last Jedi Star Wars figure also comes with her signature Quarterstaff. It is quite delicately done with lots of intricate details though I do not see why any one would pose her with the staff rather than her lightsaber.

Two cute little characters listed down as "Porgs" are also included though at this point it is not known what their association with Rey is. Probably just some small animals added in to provide comic relief in the movie.

Toy Review: Max Factory Figma Guyver I Figure vs Maxfactory Bio Fighter Collection Guyver I Figure

I have been a collector of the Maxfactory Bio Fighter Collection Guyver figures for many years now and it was only recently that the Figma Guyver I  came to my attention. Even though I have seen pictures of the Figma Guyver I figure for a while, I had always thought that it was just a scaled down version of the previous Bio Fighter Collection Guyver I figure. It turns out that I was wrong and there are many differences between the old and new Guyver figure and the  Figma Guyver I   could be a good start to a promising toy line. In terms of scale, the Figma Guyver I figure is smaller than the BFC Guyver I figure but the differences do not stop here. Articulation and paint job wise, the Figma version is fantastic and even more articulated than the BFC version. For example, the Figma Guyver I can actually perform a high kick and a split which the BFC Guyver I is not able to, due to the very hard rubber located near the waist. Also, you can switch o...

Gigantic Guyver Action Figure- Max Factory Guyver Bio Fighter Collection 10 Review

Written By Jax. Pics Courtesy of Donnay Packaging for  Maxfactory Bio Fighter Collection 10 Gigantic Guyver Figure  is the same as that of the previous Gigantic Dark Guyver Figure . There are openings on the side of the package so that you can see the accessories more clearly. I guess the only reason for doing that is to tempt collectors more : ) Despite his size, the  Gigantic Guyver  is super articulated. Joints at the elbows allow for bending more then 90 degrees. The green gravitational boosters on the body are translucent and looks as if they are pulsating with energy. Once again, Max Factory has impressed me with the details on the  Gigantic Guyver's  face. No paint bleeding of any sort can be seen. All the details on the face are captured. The head can not only tilt downwards as in previous figures.  Gigantic Dark Guyver  and Gigantic Guyver can both tilt their heads upwards by around 45 degrees, opening up new possibi...

Toy Review: Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Piccolo Dragonball Z Action Figure

The S.H Figuarts Piccolo figure is a fantastic figure at a fantastic price. First released in Novemeber 2009, this figure had a recommended retail price of USD$45. Surprisingly, this beautiful  S.H Figuarts Piccolo figure   and can still be found on  Amazon.com   at a very reasonably $35 dollars at the point of writing. Looking closely at the  S.H Figuarts Piccolo figure , you can tell that Bandai did a fantastic job and they really captured the feel of Piccolo very well. The figure itself stands at around 170mm and comes with many accessories that you can mix and match, making it a very fun figure to have. He comes with interchangeable hands, face and his iconic costume with turban and cape.  Also, I think Piccolo looks very nice with folded arms which is also included. The  S.H Figuarts Piccolo figure   is very articulated and the joints are smooth, making posing easy.  A small regret is that the  S.H Fig...
