Toy Review: SH Figuarts Street Fighter Ryu Action Figure Bandai Tamashii Nations

This S.H. Figuarts RYU Action Figure looks like a good start for a promising line. Many companies have taken on the Street Fighter line before but SH Figuarts is known to deliver highly articulated and beautiful figures so this got me really excited.


Unlike the SH Figuarts Dragonball Z line which has been pretty stingy with power up effects and figure stands, the S.H. Figuarts RYU Action Figure will include a background sheet featuring his stage and a "hadoken" energy effect and it looks great!




The S.H. Figuarts RYU Action Figure comes with the following:

  • Ryu figure (15cm high)
  • Optional expression parts (2 types)
  • Optional hands left and right
  • Hadoken effect
  • Effect support part
  • Background sheet

Release date for this figure is in June 2017 and he will retail for 6480yen (about USD$55)

Toy Review: Dawn of Justice Hot Toys Gal Gadot Wonder Woman 1/6th Scale Movie Masterpiece Figure

The Hot Toys Wonder Woman Figure looks very impressive indeed. Gal Gadot really carried the Wonder Woman character very well and I'm really excited that she has been given the Hot Toys treatment. This movie accurate Hot Toys Wonder Woman Figure is crafted with likeness to actress Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in the movie Dawn of Justice. I love that the hair on the figure is using real fabric hair instead of sculpted hair and it looks very natural on the figure. The  Hot Toys Wonder Woman Figure  also comes with very detailed sculpting with her signature tiara, battle armor and weapons. It also comes with a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice themed figure stand. There are no obvious ugly joints on the figure and it is sure to look very good on display. Bandai Tamashii Nations - SH Figuarts DBZ Majin Buu Figure Review

Introduction - SH Figuarts Majin Buu Figure Review   "Buu turn you into candy and eat you!"  The Majin Buu is the final villain in the Dragon Ball Z Manga. Honestly, I did not like the Dragon Ball Z Majin Buu Saga when I read the manga as a kid. I felt that the author should have ended the manga after the Cell Arc. All the different forms of the Majin Buu such as Kid Buu, Super Buu (Evil Buu) , Innocent Buu (Fat Buu or Zen Buu) as well as the other intermediate forms as Buu absorbed other characters really got me thinking that the author was   running out of ideas. Nevertheless, the character design is pretty unique and the SH Figuarts Majin Buu (Fat Buu or Zen version) captured this very well.  Packaging I knew that the SH Figuarts Majin Buu was going to be a big figure but when I received the actual figure, I was pleasantly surprised that it was HUGE .
