S.H.Figuarts Bandai Tamashii Nations Freeza (Freiza) Final Form Dragonball Z Action Figure Review

One of the most iconic villains from Dragonball Z has been made into an SH Figuarts Action Figure.

The S.H. Figuarts Final Form Freeza is an SDCC exclusive and unlike the Son Goku Super Saiyan Awakening S.H Figuarts Figure, he comes with tons of accessories. There is a stone base stand for re-enacting the battleground on Planet Namek, a death beam and death ball energy piece, 2 tails with one that can be used to strangle his opponents, 3 changeable heads with different facial expressions, changeable hands and feet and a figure stand. That's a lot of accessories and many possibilities for posing.

I like the inclusion of the stone base a lot and the pose above is pretty iconic. This is a scene from the Dragonball Z manga after Frieza was hit by Son Goku's Spirit Ball. He survived the attack but was seriously injured and now he is pissed off. This was right before Frieza killed Piccolo and Krilin which was the triggering point for Goku to become Super Saiyan for the first time. Compare the S.H. Figuarts Final Form Freeza with this scene from the manga and you can tell that it is pretty spot on.

Notice the tail accessory that is coiled at the end? That comes from the following scene. So you see, the S.H. Figuarts Final Form Freeza really respected the source material and offers many possibilities for re-enacting scenes from the original Dragonball Z manga.

In terms of size, he is about the size of Gohan and much shorter than Super Saiyan Goku. This is made to scale so there should not be any complains. Furthermore, the many accessories really make up for it.

The S.H. Figuarts Final Form Freeza is another hard to get figure and is available for sale on Amazon.com. Despite the high price, he has received a score of 4.6/5 with 55 customer reviews.

Here are some of the things said by people who bought the S.H. Figuarts Final Form Freeza.
  • I had no problem shelling out the extra coin for Lord Frieza!
  • The most iconic villain in DBZ captured perfectly here
  •  I can see why so many people have said this is the best SH Figuarts DBZ figure. It was worth every cent.

Toy Review: Max Factory Figma Guyver I Figure vs Maxfactory Bio Fighter Collection Guyver I Figure

I have been a collector of the Maxfactory Bio Fighter Collection Guyver figures for many years now and it was only recently that the Figma Guyver I  came to my attention. Even though I have seen pictures of the Figma Guyver I figure for a while, I had always thought that it was just a scaled down version of the previous Bio Fighter Collection Guyver I figure. It turns out that I was wrong and there are many differences between the old and new Guyver figure and the  Figma Guyver I   could be a good start to a promising toy line. In terms of scale, the Figma Guyver I figure is smaller than the BFC Guyver I figure but the differences do not stop here. Articulation and paint job wise, the Figma version is fantastic and even more articulated than the BFC version. For example, the Figma Guyver I can actually perform a high kick and a split which the BFC Guyver I is not able to, due to the very hard rubber located near the waist. Also, you can switch o...

Zoalord Pluqstahl Figure-Max Factory Guyver Bio Fighter Collection 11 Review

Written by Jax. Pics Courtesy of Donnay The packaging for the Lightning Zoalord Pluqstahl Action Figure has been reverted back to the previous designs like Guyvers I,II,III etc. I like this packaging design more so this got me pretty happy to begin with. Once again, I would like to emphasize that in order to get the   Pluqstahl Action Figure   out of the box, no cuts or tears are needed. So the toy maintains much of its value even after it has been removed from the box and is no longer considered mint in sealed box. Though of course a brand new Guyver Figure is still worth more then one that has been displayed. The eyes this time round no longer employs the reflective paint seen in the  Guyver Figures  as well as the Zoalord Gyout. Would have preferred Max Factory to build on the good points in past figures and retain it in future figures. Lots of intricate details on the face and the essense of the character is very well capture in t...

Guyver Figure- Guyver III Max Factory Bio Fighter Collection 01 Review

Written By Jax. Pics Courtesy of Donnay The Guyver Figures from the Max Factory Bio Fighter Collection are one of the coolest toy figures I have ever came across. The  Guyver III Bio Fighter Collection Series 01 (Max Factory)  is the first figure of this series. Lets review it point by point: Packaging: I personally love the packaging for this series. The outer layer is a transparent box which offers protection for the second layer. The second layer is the packaging which houses the plastic covers that sandwiches the Guyver III within it. It really looks good on display with all the printouts of the images of the toy itself, as well as display of the arsenal of interchangable arms and blades(more on this later). What is best is that you do not need to make any cuts or tears to the box in order to get the toy out. This means that if at any point you do not want to display the  Guyver III  figure any more, you can just pack it back in to the box just l...
