Toy Review: S.H Figuarts Tien Shinhan with Chao Tzu Dragonball Z Action Figure - Bandai Tamashii Nations

Tien Shinhan is one of the strongest Earthlings in the Dragon Ball Z series and an interesting character to allow us to take a break from Saiyans and Super Saiyans. The  S.H. Figuarts Tien Shinhan Action Figure captures this look very well but I sort of hope that he should have some clothing or accessory for us to convert his attire to a one shoulder tank top as seen in the Android Sage versus the bare upper body we see here.

One shoulder tank top attire and preparing the Neo Tri Beam attack to stop Cell Version 2 from getting to Android 18.

The S.H. Figuarts Tien Shinhan Action Figure depicts Tien Shin Han during the Vegeta Saga and hence the move that he is pulling off here is the Tri Beam and not the Neo Tri Beam. This move is always done with Tien hovering over his enemy and firing from the top down.

Sadly, this figure does not come with the display stand so you will have to purchase an extra one if you wish to pose him hovering in the sky with preparing for this move. You can purchase the Bandai Tamsashii Nations Humanoid Stands Here.

The S.H. Figuarts Tien Shinhan Action Figure along side Yamcha who is another non lead character that adds variety to the cast of characters other than Saiyans.

Now, the S.H. Figuarts Tien Shinhan Action Figure also comes with a non poseable Chao Tzu figure with a teary eye. This Chao Tzu figure serves only one purpose and that is to be attached to the back of Nappa to re-enact the scene where Chao Tzu self exploded in a bid to save Tien Shinhan but Nappa escaped unscathed and Chao Tzu sacrificed himself for nothing. That scene used to affect me greatly when I was a kid. Now, instead of feeling any sadness I find this Chao Tzu figure very cute.

So, I would say that Bandai Tamashii Nations has launched several interesting Dragonball Z action figures and you would need to collect Vegeta , NappaTien Shinhan and Chao Tzu and S.H. Figuarts Yamcha and Saibaman in order to fully re-enact the whole Vegeta saga scene and it makes for a very nice and interesting display.

The S.H. Figuarts Tien Shinhan Dragonball Z Action Figure comes with the following
  • Tien Shinhan S.H. Figuarts comes with a fixed pose Chao Tzu
  • Stands approximately 6 inches tall
  • This figure is a tamashii web shop exclusive item, release will be limited
  • Product bears official Bluefin Distribution logo
  • The affixed label with the Bluefin Distribution logo also entitles the purchaser to product support assistance

Toy Review: Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Piccolo Dragonball Z Action Figure

The S.H Figuarts Piccolo figure is a fantastic figure at a fantastic price. First released in Novemeber 2009, this figure had a recommended retail price of USD$45. Surprisingly, this beautiful  S.H Figuarts Piccolo figure   and can still be found on  Amazon.com   at a very reasonably $35 dollars at the point of writing. Looking closely at the  S.H Figuarts Piccolo figure , you can tell that Bandai did a fantastic job and they really captured the feel of Piccolo very well. The figure itself stands at around 170mm and comes with many accessories that you can mix and match, making it a very fun figure to have. He comes with interchangeable hands, face and his iconic costume with turban and cape.  Also, I think Piccolo looks very nice with folded arms which is also included. The  S.H Figuarts Piccolo figure   is very articulated and the joints are smooth, making posing easy.  A small regret is that the  S.H Fig...

Bandai Tamashii Nations - SH Figuarts DBZ Majin Buu Figure Review

Introduction - SH Figuarts Majin Buu Figure Review   "Buu turn you into candy and eat you!"  The Majin Buu is the final villain in the Dragon Ball Z Manga. Honestly, I did not like the Dragon Ball Z Majin Buu Saga when I read the manga as a kid. I felt that the author should have ended the manga after the Cell Arc. All the different forms of the Majin Buu such as Kid Buu, Super Buu (Evil Buu) , Innocent Buu (Fat Buu or Zen Buu) as well as the other intermediate forms as Buu absorbed other characters really got me thinking that the author was   running out of ideas. Nevertheless, the character design is pretty unique and the SH Figuarts Majin Buu (Fat Buu or Zen version) captured this very well.  Packaging I knew that the SH Figuarts Majin Buu was going to be a big figure but when I received the actual figure, I was pleasantly surprised that it was HUGE . The box itself is much larger than the SH Figuarts DBZ Nappa figure. ...

Zoaloard Gyuot/Guyot Action Figure with Unito Remover - Max Factory Guyver Bio Fighter Collection 07 Review

Written by Jax. Pics Courtesy of Donnay The packaging for the Zoalord Gyout has been changed and replaced with what you see here. A blue paper box with the plastic casing housed inside.. I personally do not like the packaging because it apppears more low end and it breaks the continuity from the previous  Guyver Figures . But as soon as I opened the box and held the Gyuot figure in my hands, I fell in love with him immediately. The eyes are painted with orange reflective paint so that it glows under certain lighting. The Zoa Crystal and the gravitation orbs are made of a certain translucent material that seems to glow even though you know that they are not really glowing. I was elated to see that Gyuot had tons of accessories. The  Zoalord Gyout  comes with chest armour plates which you can attach on by removing Gyuot's head and wearing it over his shoulders. He also comes with armour for the shoulders, wrists, knees and legs. It gives him a really majestic lo...
